While some form of public transportation exists in many cities and towns throughout New England, it is often inadequate – which also burdens our low-income and communities of color, barring access to jobs, health care, school, and recreation. Meanwhile states are struggling to keep up with the costs of funding public transit and maintenance for our bridges and highways.
It’s time for a major shift in how we think about transportation. Join Staci Rubin, Senior Attorney, CLF, Arnold Mikolo, Environmental Justice Advocate, CLF, and Neenah Estrella-Luna, StarLuna Consulting and Professor, Salem State University, to talk solutions and ask questions.

CLF is working across New England to implement smarter, climate-friendly, and socially just criteria into transportation planning processes. We’re actively advocating for aggressive investment in rail and public tranportation – and fighting to make sure that the public transit options we do have are affordable, reliable, and safe for those of us who depend on it most.
CLF is playing a leading role across New England in creating a new model for transportation and challenging outdated ways of thinking about what makes a community a great place to live. Join us on May 18th to learn more and speak with our experts!
