We Can Make Polluters Pay for Climate Change

Big Oil is driving climate change, but everyday citizens are paying for it. When extreme weather devastates Vermont, taxpayers get stuck with the skyrocketing costs. With your help, we can change that.

Right now, legislators in Vermont are considering bills to make Big Oil pay for the damage they've done to the state. If passed, these laws would make the fossil fuel polluters who have fueled the climate crisis in Vermont pay a large one-time fee to create a "Climate Superfund." The money would go to protecting communities from the impacts of climate change, like flooding and storms.

Polluters should have to clean up their mess. Write a message to your elected officials asking them to fight for Big Oil to pay for their role in the climate crisis.
