With our federal government actively undermining environmental priorities, this is the worst possible time for our state government to run away from our environmental commitments. We need to stand strong and protect Massachusetts’ nature and communities.

Please tell your senators that you won’t accept slashing the state’s budget for safeguarding the environment.

Please cosponsor Amendment #336, Office of Environmental Justice and Equity, Amendment #370, Department of Environmental Protection, and Amendment #309, Department of Fish and Game. Our environment needs more protection, not less. Cutting funding would lead to fewer safeguards for our land, air and water, weakened climate resilience, fewer protections for wildlife, and more. 

With the federal government undercutting protections for the environment, I’m counting on you to step up. I deeply care about our natural world and protecting communities from pollution and other environmental harms. Please don’t strip funding for departments and offices doing crucial work.
